Overview of the role
The Customer Account Coordinator role is the primary contact between WG Jones and our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts in full, ensuring that queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
Attributes
Experience within Aerospace or Engineering is preferred but not essential.
Good general IT Skills.
Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Excel.
Experience of a MRP system an advantage but not essential.
Good communicator.
Part of the sales team to ensure monthly targets are met.
Ability to set and work to priorities.
Must be well organised.
Role Responsibilities
You will closely monitor and develop the customer expectations in terms of On Time Delivery.
Closely track potential delays and discuss with the customer, at the earliest stage, any risks.
Be influential in prioritising and pushing production to meet customer expectations.
Communicate at different levels and liaise between the relevant departments and company to resolve any technical or quality issues.
Attend the daily production meetings and take an active part in pushing the completion and delivery of components to the customer.
Working week
Monday – Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm

Quality Inspector CMM programmer - full time role

We are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer. This is a full time role for the right candidate.
This role is within our busy,well equipped and modern CNC machine shop situated within our Verwood facility
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 07:30 -16:30
Friday 07:30 -12:30
Salary:
Up to £24/hour dependent on experience
Holiday:
25 days + bank holidays
Role Requirements:
Ability to work unsupervised
Self-motivated
Good knowledge of operating a CMM (preferably running PC-Dmis software)
Must be able to interpret detailed engineering drawings (Geometric Tolerances)
Must be able to manually measure and inspect detailed machined parts
Inspection experience working in a machine shop environment
Good knowledge of machining practices
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages (Excel, Word etc.)
Good communications skills
Role Responsibilities
Work safely at all times
Inspect machined parts, working to tight aerospace tolerances.
First Off and Stage inspection of detailed machined components
Batch Inspection utilising manual inspection techniques (Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gauges etc.)
Creation and completion of First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102

Working Hours:
DAY SHIFT :
Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 and Friday 07:30 - 12:30
Salary:
up to £23/hr dependent on experience
Holiday:
25 days + bank holidays
Role Requirements:
Time served apprentice
Minimum 5 years aerospace experience
Must be competent at programming/editing NC programs
Ability to read and follow aerospace protocols and achieve/maintain high levels of quality
Ability to set and run CNC turning centres
Ability to work unsupervised
Self-motivated
Must be well organised
Role Responsibilities

Complete check sheets as Quality record
