Paul has over 40 years’ experience of the Defence and Aerospace sector having originally purchased the company with his brother in 1982.
Now the sole shareholder of the business under his stewardship Paul has grown a single site business employing 40 employees to a multi-site business today employing over 100 people.
Instilling a simple business philosophy of “Leave nothing for tomorrow which can be done today”.
Mark is an experienced business leader with extensive experience gained across a variety of operational, commercial and financial roles.
He has worked within engineering/manufacturing sector for the last 25 years having initially trained and qualified as an accountant within the Financial Services sector.
Sarah has worked within the quality sector for 20 years across several different business sectors but mainly within the aerospace and defence sectors.
She is a qualified Lead Auditor in AS9100 and has an extensive knowledge of the AS9100 standard.
Sarah enjoys helping companies improve and building lasting Customer relationships.
Gary brings over 39 years’ experience of working in a sub-contract precision machining environment. His engineering education began in 1982 as an apprentice tool maker. He has gone on to work within many varied markets including the oil and gas, Defence, Aerospace and Nuclear sectors.
He has an extensive knowledge of all aspects of machine shop methodology and Management and has held key positions including Production Engineer, Senior NPI Engineer and Production Engineering Manager posts before transitioning into Customer focused roles.
Precision engineering is his lifeblood and delivering Customer expectations remains his focus.
Steve has worked in the aerospace industry for 25 years having gained a 2:1 aerospace engineering degree at the University of the West of England.He has specialised within the subcontract machining world gaining experience in a variety of roles from production scheduling, MRP & IT installations, procurement and customer relations for major OEMs. His current role at WG Jones involves managing customer expectations by providing products on time. Managing the team, from procurement through to operations, in order to get product through the shop floor.
Adam has over 20 years experience working in the Defence and Aerospace sectors. His engineering education commenced in 1996 as an apprentice mechanical engineer and he brings an extensive knowledge of CNC machining methodologies and principles.
Adam has an HNC qualification in Manufacturing Management and is also qualified as an AS9100 Auditor.
Anthony has over 35 years’ experience working within subcontract precision machining environments, starting as an apprentice on the machines working within multiple sectors such as Oil & Gas, Defence, and aerospace.
He has an extensive knowledge of all aspects of machine shop methodology and has held positions as shopfloor supervisor, production engineer, transitioning into engineering manager.
Lee has over two decades experience working within engineering environments, initially within the aerospace sector prior to expanding into multiple sectors such as Oil & Gas and Defence.
Previously as Purchasing Manager, Lee migrated into more systems and quality focused roles. Introducing new quality and I.T. systems, auditing and maintaining AS9100 standards whilst being able to call on an extensive knowledge base of suppliers, specifications and materials.
Paul has a history spanning over 40 years in a diverse engineering sector. He brings extensive experience of customer focused management gained from his experience in Managing/Directing companies involved in such disciplines as Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems, Special purpose machinery and of course Precision Machining and related activities.
In his personal time Paul has spent many years as Chairman of a Charity specialising in rare genetic conditions affecting Children.
Phil brings over 20 years manufacturing experience, the majority of which is working in the precision machining sector. He is a time served Tool Maker and has several years’ experience as a Process Technician in a Volume Manufacturing facility.
He moved on to Estimating in the precision machining sector and, after several years, progressed to Senior Estimator. Phil then progressed to become Operations Manager and has recently moved roles to become Client Delivery & Quotations Manager.
